Lessons Learned on Contracts and Remote Teams
Recap: Last week, our startup got into Facebook Start and applied for a big media opportunity.
This week, our low was when we spent literally our last dollar ? on an important addition to our app. Luke had to work remotely and missed our team. Our high was when we realized that we didn’t have to cancel our Mailchimp email service, because we have so many credits from Facebook Start! With Luke out of town, we implemented regular morning calls with our remote team, and we are so much more productive and cohesive.
Lesson’s learned: Put everything in your contract, assume nothing…and work is way better with friends!
